- A major manufacturer and distributor of building products (e.g., windows & doors, roofing, insulation, etc.), commissioned us to conduct site visits with major U.S. home builders in 14 states
- Objective was to help them better understand up and coming industry trends, identify unmet needs, and gather reactions to several bundled product / discounting concepts
- These in-depth, in-context interviews yielded powerful insights into what home builders were looking for from their suppliers, as well as how home buyer needs impacted the types of new homes being built
- We helped this client understand that offering discounted bundled services was appealing, but what could truly differentiate them from competitors was providing guaranteed, on time installation of their products. This finding, not originally among the concepts tested, enabled our client to move forward in a unique, differentiated way.
